We are a large regional retail grocery store looking for a mid-level Graphic Designer with e-commerce experience to join our team. This position will be responsible for preparing visual presentations by designing art and copy layouts with an emphasis on branding to drive business results.


1. Technical Support Associate

Primary Responsibilities:

*Install, configure and troubleshoot computer, peripheral equipment and related software.

*Install, configure and troubleshoot Retail POS system hardware, software and its peripherals.

*Assist in the maintenance and testing of network equipment, servers and associated equipment.

*Work with store employees to troubleshoot IT related issues.

*Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical issues for retail store IT equipment.

*Require interaction with application software and operation system to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problem.

*Independent analysis, communication and problem solving.

*Work is performed with little supervision and requires high operational initiative and judgment.

*Additional duties as assigned by manager.


Necessary Skills & Qualifications:

*Bachelor’s degree in technical related filed is preferred

*2+ years’ experience working in retail technical support environment is a plus

*Experience in setup and testing of point of sale hardware

*Experience in setup and troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers

*Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies and issue resolution techniques

*Excellent oral, interpersonal and presentational skills.

*Self-motivated and directed

*Good analytical and problem-solving abilities

*Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

*Very strong customer service orientation

*Local travel required

*Weekends as required

* English and Chinese bilingual speaking is a big plus


2. Produce Merchandiser

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Develop and execute ongoing business strategy through product optimization, category marketing, and vendor management to maximize ROI.

* Evaluate existing standard operation procedures (SOP) and recommend better solutions to streamline the process.

* Order, monitor and maintain the inventory balance to respond to market changes and reduce waste.

* Stock and merchandise products into all stores based on regional market segmentations and penetrations of company image.

* Monitor regional territory and act as a liaison to communicate with vendors to ensure product quality and pricing strategy.

* Resolve inventory issues relating to the violation of food regulations, product damages, purchasing and ordering or spoils.

* Assist store and department managers to roll out seasonal promotion plans to prospect new markets.

* Coach department managers on product features, display, as well as marketing campaigns for better customer service.

* Attend corporate or sales related meetings and update business objectives on an as needed basis .

* Perform other duties as assigned by management teams


QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* Minimum five (5) years experience as a buyer or in similar roles in a retail setting with at least 1-2 years as a front line sales people.

* High school diploma or G.E.D., bachelor’s degree preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

* Solid understanding of produce product knowledge with ability to specify details and equipment operation

* Effective oral/written communication skills

* Problem solving, analytical, negotiation skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

* Knowledge of SAP system, or comparable ERP system in the market

* Knowledge of OSHA, sanitation and food safety regulations as required

* Require extensive travel to designated stores

* Ability to periodically lift, push and pull 50+ pounds, stand, walk, kneel, and reach

* Extreme cold working environment is occasionally required


3. Merchandising Assistant

Job Summary

Be responsible for a wide range of administrative responsibilities. Support Merchandising Managers to answer general questions from vendors or customers ; continuously monitor the inventory and audit pricing structure to ensure data accuracy. It is a great opportunity for people looking for challenges and room for growth.

Key responsibility

* Taking incoming phone calls and replying emails; forwarding requests to the contact person in a professional manner

* Creating vendor, buyer, and customer files; maintaining an organized, easy to search filing system

* Relentlessly communicating with managers or vendors to ensure product quality and quantity

* Coordinating shipments with distribution center to ensure on-time delivery and receipt

* Collaborate with Accounting department to ensure on-time payment

* Monitoring back orders and claims to ensure adherence to internal policies

* Perform other duties as assigned by the management team

Skills and Qualifications

* Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

* 1-2 years administrative, retail operation, or related work experience preferred

* Mandarin/English bilingual is preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, familiar with Google Apps is a plus

* Excellent organization, communication, and customer service skills


4. Bilingual HR Assistant

Skill/Knowledge:

* Possess a positive work attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the position.

* Strong and effective oral/written communication skills in English. Chinese speaking and reading required.

* Exceptional coordination, multi-tasking ability, time management & organization skills.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Be able to work well with various personalities and work as a team.

* Skills in filing, proofreading, formatting, report writing, and basic bookkeeping.

* Must be dependable and able to exercise discretion in handling confidential information.

* Proficient in Google Apps, Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook) and other software. SAP knowledge will be a huge plus.

* General understanding and knowledge of California Labor, Wage & Hour Law & compliance requirements is a plus.

Others:

* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

* Be able to accommodate flexible work schedule and minimal travel when needed
