Job Description:

The buyer/procurement specialist will be responsible for:

• Sourcing new domestic and international vendors

• Negotiating pricing and evaluating vendor performance

• Market research to determine sales margins

• Maintain and plan for production needs to support daily operations

Skills:

Individual must be able to take on single or multiple tasks instantly, detail-oriented, and meet deadlines.

• At least 5 years of merchandise sourcing and analysis.

• Knowledge in packaging materials preferred.

• Strong vendor communications and negotiations skills.

• Knowledge in Inventory control.

• Strong projection and analysis skills.

• Understanding of warehousing, logistics, and trucking equipment is a strong plus.

• Strong knowledge in Excel.
