1. Construction Manager

Bilingual Chinese/Mandarin speaking ability essential as a bona fide occupational qualification.
Minimum Education: BS/BA degree in Construction Management, Structural Engineer, Business or related field.
Minimum Experience: Five (5) years experience in Construction Management. Retail Chain experience preferred.

Essential Functions:
Construction Management manage and oversee the timely execution of new and remodel projects for the 85°C stores. This position works closely with Marketing and Real Estate to identify value engineering opportunities in area of design, store construction, and fixture materials.


Required Skills and Abilities:

Demonstrated knowledge of construction management, including site work, mechanical, and architectural considerations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage remote activities and partners.
- Excellent project management with proven record of project success, within provided time & budget constrain.
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating, and vendor management skill.
- Ability to handle a large and varied set of projects and negotiations to a successful conclusion.
- General knowledge of construction and real estate costs.
- Strong strategic vision, as well as an understanding of design and construction process.
- Ability to travel on a regular basis with overnight stays, up to 20% of the time.

Item Job Duties:

- Oversee the total construction effort to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Generate post-opening assessment of actual cost vs. projection, in the area of construction and fixture purchasing.
- Review assigned projects to establish critical path milestones, action and schedules.
- Forecast order and ensure on-time delivery of equipment, fixtures and other branding elements for new and existing stores.
- Conduct walk through to verify progress and completion for all assigned projects.
- Update, maintain and communicate site criteria to the Retail Development team. Assist in establishing all Standard Construction Cost across the 85°C chain.



2. Marketing & PR Coordinator

Minimum Education: BS/BA degree in Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations.
Minimum Experience: Public Relations, Media Relations: One (1) year

Essential Functions:
Public Relations Analyst oversees and implements the strategic use of communication vehicles to advance all corporate objectives; and serves as the media liaison for all 85⁰C events and issues. Public Relations Analyst works closely with Business Development, Operation, Production and the Marketing team, as well as a diversity of external constituents. This position will facilitate proactive relationships between 85⁰C and its targetted community, supervise assigned personnel, and oversee all outgoing media correspondence.

Required Skills and Abilities

Bachelor's Degree (in Business, Mass Communication or Journalism)
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in consumer product and/or brand public relations. 
- Must have proven media relationships across lifestyle, tech, men's and women's interest verticals. 
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual in Chinese and English is preferable. 
- Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets.
- Excellent writing skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel. 
- Must have strong knowledge and solid experience with social media platforms. 
- Familiarity and knowledge of food industry and trends. 
- Light travel required
