SAP Developer (ABAPer) for FI/CO

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The SAP ABAP Developer will provide SAP development support. Responsible for troubleshooting issues, supporting interfaces, assisting with architecture, providing technical ABAP expertise, providing support to the SAP functional leads and working with basis. The individual must consistently produce programming and documentation of the highest quality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Experience with SAP transactions, tables and data flow ideally within the logistics industry
• ABAP programming experience in FI Module
• Experience in module pool programming in SAP
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in user exits, screen exits, enhancements and BADIs, BAPIs, ABAP Dictionary, ABAP Objects and similar core functionality to SAP
• Experience and knowledge in Smart forms, Scripts 
• Experience in development of interfaces using web services
• Experience in interfaces, enhancements, reports, forms, workflow, debugging, architectures, troubleshooting system issues, analyzing processes and liaison with Basis as needed
• Experience translating requirements and functional specifications into technical solutions (specifications, tested code, technical documentation)
• Experience providing support and maintenance, program modifications and performance tuning along with developing custom coding solutions when necessary
• Good communication/documentation skills

REQUIREMENTS (Education/Experience/Certifications/Skills)
• Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent experience
• 4-5 years of SAP ABAP development experience
• Experience in end-to-end implementations
• Experience in developing in other areas of SAP a plus
• Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others on multiple activities, with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills
• Excellent analytical problem solving skills
• Must be customer-service oriented and adaptable to ongoing change
• Must possess the ability to contribute to the development of new processes, as well as effectively identify, analyze and resolve highly complex technical issues.
