Cyber & Information Security and Risk Analyst (Location : Manhattan)

Job Responsibilities:

As a Cyber Information Security and Risk Analyst, your task is to work and collaborate with members of our Information Technology Team to provide and help create the bank’s cyber and information security status & awareness. You will also create, tune and compile metrics that is related to information security devices; along with maintaining documentation for security related developments and procedures. You will be accountable for proactively & securely monitoring, outlining security posture advancements, overlooking marketing changes, responding to alerts and events, privilege management and risk assessment. There will be a focus on the Bank’s cyber & information security and IT risk preparation to improve our ability to identify threats in the environment


·Coordinates with management to establish and maintain IT security policies and principles to secure and improve business processes and information security programs while performing cyber and security risk assessments.

·Report, generate and standardize information security and risk reports utilizing various security technologies.

·Assist in the formation, implementation, and/or management of security solutions.

·Manage vendor risks and monitor due diligence activities and their frequency to determine both inherent and residual risks.

·Research, collect, distill, and disseminate tactical, strategic and operational intelligence to key stakeholders and security documentation.

·Analyze and manage network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine potential sources of alerts.

·Investigate available security tools and countermeasures to remedy the detected vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions and best practices.

·Other IT Security and risk related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience/knowledge within support area.

·3+ years of relevant information security and IT risk management experience (securities or financial services industry is preferred).

·CCNA or CCNP certification is preferred.

·CISSP or CISA is a plus, but not required.

·Familiarity with Windows OS and network vulnerabilities, server and database.


Lending Staff & Underwriter (Location : Manhattan, Bayside):

·Entry level or 2 years Commercial loan underwriting experience.

·Detail oriented.

·Professional communication skills and organizational skill.

·Familiar with MS Office suite environment with strong Excel skill.
