Cost Analyst
We are looking for a SELF-MOTIVATED, ATTENTIVE, and PERSISTENT individual with 2-5 years relevant work experience in the telecom industry with an accounting background.
The junior cost analyst position functions as a business support person to network platform, resource management, and finance team. The position assists in managing and monitoring the telecom business and is responsible for global costs and control including general accounting, resource reconciliation, resource allocation, and cost analysis. The position supports month-end close and special projects as requested, and works with carriers to understand issues and how they impact the financial results as well as inform other departments on cost divers and variances

Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, collect, and study data to determine costs of business activity such as resources purchases, consumable supplies and labor.
Review existing vendor services to ensure resource utilization and cost-effective solution, and to identify impact to the organization.
Make recommendation on capacity planning and forecasting.
Validate costs back to contractual agreement to ensure that invoices reflect contractual term.
Track contractual agreement costs for forecasting, trend, and budget variance analysis.
Summarize existing contractual agreement relationships and provide research resulting in new relationships.
Drive opening, negotiating, and closing disputes with vendor invoices.
Collect cost information and maintain database of costs for entire network to update product cost list.
Estimate proposed project costs, evaluate its overall costs, and control the profit margins in that project.
Review and answer network and resource related questions regarding costs.
Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecasts.
Gather information and prepare various reports.
Basic Qualifications:
1-2 years of analyst experience at a telecom related industries.
BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Fluent in Mandarin strongly preferred.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to use Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Have a complete understanding of accounting principles.
Well-developed interpersonal skills with excellent oral and written communication skill.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
Ability to accurately prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Desire to work in a high growth environment and have a passion for the high-tech industry.
Experience working with engineering personnel on development and analysis of costs.

As an IDC Engineer
As a member of the respondents, you will be part of the team responsible for the global operational support of Zenlayer Data Center located at Downtown L.A. Your primary responsibility is to monitor a smooth process during shift and standby to resolve issue that may continue arise. You will also be working closely with all levels of the Support Team and is expected to operate, excel, maintain and monitor operating systems of the data center whenever and whatever support service for the enterprise systems, which 24x7 availability coverage including holiday, off hours (i.e., graveyard shift), weekend and vacation when deemed necessary.
Expectations:
Complete hardware support work order and all scheduled data center MACs (Moves/Adds/Changes), including device labeling, power and network connectivity, certification, troubleshooting, and break-fix.
Maintain a safe and secure operating environment by reporting any violations to the direct supervisor, adhere to security and data protection protocols and error logging practices, and support operating procedures.
Maintain asset management and compliance with audit, daily log tracking, thorough documentation, and retention practices.
Provide smart-hands assistance at various sites within specified SLA response time.
Provide status reporting regarding data center service availability, performance, and capacity utilization.
Strong working knowledge with server and network hardware/components, copper and fiber infrastructure installation and testing, data center productivity and support tools, applications and software (Windows, Linux, SSH, RDP, Putty, etc.), and data center infrastructure management (DCIM) related tools.
Coordinate equipment/material receiving, shipping and RMA processing support as/when required
Provide general cleaning on raised floor, cabinet/rack exterior surfaces, work benches and other areas as needed on a regular basis.
On-Call duties as needed. Traveling for on-site service support or deployment is required as needed.
Ideal Candidate's Skills & Qualification:
Fluent in English and Mandarin, reading, writing, and speaking.
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year of IT support experience OR 3+ years’ experience in related computer work or equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrated success skills in related fields, such as IT/MIS support.
Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, positive in approach, professional and help create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
Excellent communication skills.
Basic network, servers, and OS knowledge. Understand TCP/IP.
Ability to use hand tools.
