We are currently seeking machine operators to convert tea into finished, packaged products in accordance with defined quality, productivity, safety, and cost standards.

Job Descriptions:

- Conducts a check of the packaging machine, and completes a change over sheet to ensure that boxes, film, tea, etc. on the packaging line are correct.

- Inspects tea bags on the packaging line to ensure they are sealing good with no tea inside the seals and no holes in the bag.

- Checks bags to insure they are the correct weight and sends them back to be remixed if they do not pass inspection.

- Assembles boxes for the packaging machine to fill.

- Closes boxes of tea after the bags are counted by the machine and placed in the box.

- Cleans machine with an air hose and sweeps the working area throughout the day as necessary in order to prevent dust on the packaging line.

- Other duties might be assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

- Manufacturing and fast paced environment, a full range of motion is required (reaching and lifting), lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Standing for the duration of a shift (8 or more hours), continuous work, possible exposure to various odors and dusts.

- Independent worker, observant, good motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

- Ability to identify quality problems. Basic math skills. Input information into graphs, use scales and calculator.

- Prior experience as a machine operator preferred.

Shift: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
