1. Bi-lingual (Chinese & English) Bookkeeper for DTLA fashion brand (P/T) (DTLA)
We are looking for a reliable bookkeeper to join our small in-house team. This is a great opportunity for an individual with exceptional organization skills with a positive attitude. You must be honest, attentive, and a team player.
Job Responsibilities:
– Daily/Monthly/Quarterly bookkeeping including data entry and related reconciliations
– Administrative and general office support duties
– Manage accounts payable
– Work closely with Sales Manager on account receivables
– Process payroll – Manage cash flow
– Organize existing accounts
– Manage multiple accounts
– File and maintain all required forms to operate business, and ensure compliance with any local, state and federal agencies, banks and insurance companies
– Work with external CPA Position
Qualifications:
– Must speak Chinese: Mandarin or Cantonese
– Be an excellent communicator both written and oral in English
– Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
– Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
– Obsessively organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task
– Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
– Quickbooks knowledge and experience a must
– A/R: Sales order through cash collections experience a must
– Experience with MS Word, Excel & Gmail
– Eager to learn, positive attitude and strong work ethic
– Ability to efficiently follow up on open items
– Highly dependable and ability to handle multiple projects
Experience:
– Minimum of 3 years accounting and bookkeeping experience
This position is part time on a 3 days per week basis.
2. Marketing Specialist (P/T)
In this position, you will be responsible for all social media outlets from ideation, to content creation, implementation, management, and reporting. Swift ability to create compelling multi-platform social strategies to increase public awareness and engagement, as well as sales is essential. Act as primary liaison between affiliate agencies, publishers, and public figures to drive traffic and revenue. Conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years experience with digital marketing channels including social media and affiliate networks, proven ability to significantly drive engagement and conversation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or Business, or relevant work experience.
- Thorough understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social and aggregator platforms and viral mechanics
- Strong analytical capability with experience in forecasting and web analytics
- Creative thinker who can understand and express the KERISMA brand
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data to back up assumptions and develop business
- Knowledge in web analytical tools: Google, CoreMetrics, Omniture, etc.
- Ecommerce/Retail experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral (speaking, listening, interpretation)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) and team player
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Familiarity with affiliate programs, blogger outreach, etc.
- Provide feedback to creative team to influence future brand direction that will increase sales
- Responsible for providing timely reporting and analytical understanding of campaign results
- Identify relevant emerging platforms
- Photography/Content Creation skills a plus
This position is for part-time with min. 3-4 days a week.
3. Personal and Administrative Assistant (P/T)
Energetic, goal-driven personal assistant needed to work with the Co-Owner/Creative Director of KERISMA. This is a great opportunity for an individual with exceptional organizational and project management skills with a positive, professional demeanor. As this role requires both personal and administrative projects, you must be reliable, trustworthy, and discrete, exhibiting sound judgment and the highest level of integrity at all times.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to communicate Creative Director’s needs and wishes to the rest of the creative team
- Strong independent work ethic, ability to take direction and follow through on projects
- EXTREME organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Responsible for maintaining personal and work calendars
- Booking and making travel arrangements
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritize needs and focus on projects accordingly
- Event planning and coordination (some decorating as needed)
- Valid driver’s license and insurance, having your own vehicle a plus but not required
- Maintain office stocked up with kitchen and office supplies, reorder when needed
- Perform other related duties as required by management
- Must be comfortable (& eager!) wearing many hats
- Some travel may be necessary
This position is for part-time, 3-4 days a week.
