1. A full time Account Representative/inside sale.
2. A part time Accountant
The Role for Account Representative/inside sales:
As an Account Representative/inside sale based in San Jose, CA, you will have the opportunity to work with major players in the telecommunications, medical, and biomedical industries. You will play a critical role within the company through hands-on management of customer accounts and maintaining meaningful client relationships where you will:
- Work directly with external clients to ensure products are successfully delivered, managed, and meet customer goals.
- Partner closely with internal teams on day-to-day processes and collaborate on large scale, high-visibility strategy
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Business preferred.
- Proficient knowledge of IT and/or industry solutions, products and services to solve business challenges.
- Advanced computer software skills required (e.g. Microsoft Excel, QB).
- Proficient understanding of company’s portfolios of products and services.
- Excellent in verbal and writing communication skill.
- Can work independently, responsibly and have excellent organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills/team player.
- Must speak English and Mandarin Chinese fluently
Job Responsibilities:
- Acting as sales representative for customer, assisting customers on questions and/or requests.
- Proactively quote, quote renewals and support contracts; provide quotes, information, pricing, proposals.
- Supporting sales initiatives in PC software and IT
- Contact customers with queries about orders or deliveries.
- Review new orders, resolve pricing issues and ensure the accurate sales order entered into company’s system.
- Contact vendors and arrange order to vendors.
- Keep sales team updated on daily actions/activities and assist in managing outstanding quotes.
- Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history; identifying alternate means for filling orders; notifying managers and customers.
- Process evaluation orders by entering request; arranging shipment; notifying customer.
- Participate in team meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively and productively with other departments to meet customer needs
- Post-sales support; assist customer with basic issues like replacement parts and process RMAs if needed.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Responding to customers’ technical question and needs by phone & e-mail.
The Role for part time Accountant:
- Preparation of financial statements including but not limited to bank, credit card and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Assist with quarterly, year-end, tax and financial reviews
- Assist /oversee accounts payable/accounts receivable function and maintenance of GL
- Maintenance inventory count
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience with AP/AR
- General understanding of accounting principles
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with QuickBook
- Excellent organizational and multi-task skills
